NUS has also successfully established four research institutes that align with Singapore’s strategic goals in China, focusing on research, innovation, education and enterprise – the first being Suzhou in 2011. NUSRI China has since expanded its footprint to three other cities – Fuzhou, Chongqing and Guangzhou.
Building on the strong government-to-government ties between both countries, NUS will continue to strengthen existing strategic partnerships and cultivate new collaborations. Through NUSRI China, NUS will extend the university’s education, research, and innovation and enterprise network and ecosystem in China.
